Money Jedi Mind Trick

The popular line in the Star Wars movie, where Jedi Master Obi-Wan gently states to a couple of stormtroopers looking for the droids he is hiding: "These aren't the droids you're looking for." In respones, one of the stormtrooper says, "These aren't the droids we're looking for." The stormtroopers step aside and let Obi-Wan and the droids pass.

Now replace the word "droids" with "money". How often to you feel that your money is slipping through your fingers without you receiving something of equal or greater value in return. Look for the mind trick. Maybe that person or company plays on your emotions, or fear or self-image.

Is what they are offering going to support your life and your goals? If not, then you can gently state, "This isn't the money you are looking for."

At the June 13 event, during the Money section of the day, you will be sharpening your Jedi skills in staying in possession of what you value, and how you make and spend your money.
